Jim Pieretti

Jim’s art developed from growing up with paradoxical parents — his mother was an artist specializing in oils and acrylic paintings and his father was an engineer who designed electronics systems. Having built the family’s first stereo system from vacuum tubes – the technology of the 1950s — Jim’s dad amassed a significant collection of tubes as a hobby. In later years, Jim combined the tubes from his dad with the creativity of his mother to create sculptured art pieces for his personal residence as an artistic momento of his parents. His art’s retro-modern style began receiving much attention and so Jim’s distinctive and proprietary art style was born. After a brief hiatus from creating these sculpted pieces, Jim has reignited this creativity producing new pieces of various styles and sizes and is also available to create individual pieces on a commissioned basis.
