A bit about me
Art has been a lifelong passion of mine. I began to paint wooden birdhouses seriously in the late 1990’s with an emphasis on Pennsylvania Dutch designs. Over the years I have become influenced by other styles including “quilt” designs and designs seen in Alaska.
I won a national contest sponsored by DecoArt, a craft supply paint and accessory company, for my “Crazy Quilt” birdhouse design. This birdhouse was a national finalist, one of three, and then voted on by a national audience to be the national winner for the month of June 2012. READ MORE
